One of my favorite species to see in early spring are Eastern Ribbonsnakes! A fairly uncommon species in Tennessee due to their limited range within the state. Found this one last week while on a walk with my gf @valenthedragon.bsky.social !

A MASSIVE Speckled Rattlesnake (Crotalus pyrrhus) that @evowo.bsky.social and I found on the road a few days ago. We saw a few of these during the past week but this one was by far the biggest! Thankfully we were able to get to them just before another car did and ensured their safety! #herps 🐍

I’m in California right now and shortly after I landed in San Diego, @evowo.bsky.social and I went on a hike and while the park was extremely busy we lucked out and found this beautiful juvenile Southern Pacific Rattlesnake on the path!!! An absolute stunner!!! #herps 🐍
