Good morning! It's Monday, December 22nd and in the midst of all the holiday havoc, I was wondering if you were able to play anything over the weekend? For me, the closest I got was putting my Daggerheart cards into sleeves.

My husband @artificerind.bsky.social has been having an especially rough go of it this year, and it's really been weighing on him this week. Maybe consider chipping in on his holiday wish? It's already over half funded!

Advent of Swords, Day 3: If you're designing a #ttrpg, what's its objective? What are the players trying to accomplish? Can you clearly put that into words? Would those words help you organize your thoughts and design? If you confessed the objective to the players, would that help them play?

Swords Without Master blew the lid off of the way I think about RPG play. I will never not enjoy running it for people because it brings out magic at the table. I see people pull out storytelling chops they didn't know they had.

We didn't feel like we had enough going on, what with the Twitch streams and the YouTube channel and the newsletter and the work we continue to do to make Lore Link an asset for anyone running a TTRPG, so we decided to start a blog. lorelink.com/blog

I don’t have any new games on my wish list at this time, but I do have some classic ttrpgs I would like in my game library. I have some AD&D 1e and L5R 1e books that I still need to rebuild my collection. A more specific book I am seeking is the Big Blue Book version of Champions 4th edition.

SO MANY, mostly ones we played on stream 😂 off the top of my head: Alien, The One Ring, Pendragon, and when it comes out The Magic of Inventorying!

Running a Pathfinder->Starfinder game as well as a separate Starfinder game. Been reading through the Marvel Multiverse RPG lately (seems neat) as well as HC SVNT DRACONES. Not really looking to run more at the moment though, but would love to play a new character in something.

Currently running a D&D5e adventure lifted from an old 2e adventure. The players have to rescue a cursed temple from the fifth layer of Hell in order to save the soul of their friend.
