The experience of using Bluesky on an #iPad is… um… interesting. First it was appearing as most IOS apps due that only work on an iPhone - as a narrow column in the middle of the iPad screen. Then I did something and it started taking over the whole screen in landscape mode.. but not working well 🙁

How the foundation of Bluesky was built is so crucial for the future of social — so much so that @rmac.bsky.social & I wrote a whole chapter about it in our book. From day 1, @jay.bsky.team was insistent on independence, a decision that was extraordinarily prescient. (1/2)
