Had a lovely time at Mary King Close with @jilld17.bsky.social! We did the tour, then had tea and scones in a Victorian Christmas themed parlour where we decorated walnuts (and also, mostly ourselves) while wearing some snazzy headgear. Genuinely, what more could you want from an afternoon?

Abbotsford in morning, Trimontium Museum and Melrose in the afternoon, home via the big Sainsburys. A pretty perfect Saturday adventure.

Had a very harsh lesson in being careful with WHEN and IF statements today. "Let me know when you get home" to a pal walking home along The Shore in the dark is not the time to mix them up.
