Since Aug 2024 open jobs on LinkedIn in the games industry have gone down from 12K to under 9K. The number of layoffs since 2022 has been 38K+. Even with duplicate layoffs and people that got new jobs since then that´s just too many butts for too few open seats. Grass might be greener elsewhere.
