Something that doesn’t happen anymore that I dearly miss is how fictional characters used to be depicted a lot less consistently. Old Final Fantasy characters who look different in artwork than they do in game, Link randomly having pink hair, Sonic looking different in western media and JP media…

when ur constantly thinking abt a ship and running detailed visual simulations of scenarios in ur head but none of it comes out as writing or drawing. only, like. constant, overwhelming yearning for the concept
