The climax of my 2009 short film Dead of Night filmed down the same alley in Highland Park, Illinois that was used in the car chase in Risky Business. Many of the business owners remembered that event 15 years earlier. The alley hadn't changed one bit in all that time.

It's weird how the charity thrift store had higher standards for their used CDs than the actual retail used music store. I would've found a couple of albums I was after at the latter if they weren't scratched up like hell today. The former had two pristine CDs of Aerosmith albums I wanted.

Well, I’m very tired tonight. Might as well watch Orton vs Cena in an Iron Man Match from Bragging Rights 2009. Have to get this banked up ahead of the @aepodcast.bsky.social gets there. I’m just not crazy about the 30 second rest spots here. Doesn’t sound very “Iron Man” to me.

I'm just chipping away at the Star Wars video right now. I'll get into the full swing this weekend. I've got the opening finalized, got some very light work in the first several minutes, and culled some extra TV ads and promos for it. Work is just being a real PAIN this week, and I'm tired.

More shots from the Davinci render of Seans work - its not had any of the colour correction work yet (this is #StarTrekVoyager Season 7) so there is that. Still early days on this render pipeline in fusion too. Its very much a starter for ten!

After taking a few years off due to burn out I've finally started work on the Highlander 2 International Cut restoration again. Still no idea when/if I'll finish it but it feels good to be working on it again. So expect more unhinged H2 content in the coming months.

I bought some new headphones and as soon as I hit Play on Michelle Branch’s “Best You Ever,” I KNEW these stunk. I’ve listened to that song an absurd amount of times to know that these JVC suckers can’t hack it. Muffled with too much low end and projected none of the punch that song has.

The Running Man was a fun, entertaining, and largely well executed action sci-fi flick. Edgar Wright takes Stephen King’s story and gave it a proper adaptation with a stellar leading man! It can feel bit uneven and a tad over long, but it’s definitely worth seeing! Its themes are very resonant!

Name a comfort 90s film. (I re-watched it a few months ago and I still adore it. LOL!)

I am just F’N tired. I left work 90 minutes early because this week has exhausted me, and it’s not over by a long shot.

I've been back burnering this idea for a couple of weeks now, but I'm writing a letter and putting together a package to court Warner Bros TV / Home Entertainment about the TV Series Brimstone.

I got some more work done on the Human Target video tonight. Re-recorded some parts about the season one finale, ripped and sourced some other footage aside from the series, and edited some significant portions together.

What fun this movie was! Stone Cold Fox is a delightful 80’s throwback romp of a crime comedy! Keirnan Shipka, Krysten Ritter, & Keifer Sutherland really fill out vibrant roles in a movie that kept me happy and thrilled throughout! Cheeky humor with its heart on its sleeve for the 80’s!.
