The conspiracy theory I buy into is there is no way these are top grossing movies. Abunch of people saw the first one, and in 3D IMax Super Deluxe because "it's the only way to see it". But that wasn't for the story, it was for the animation. But the second one..... I don't know anyone who saw it.

They framed this as they're removing the feature because not many people use it and they can spend the development time on features people use. Wired.... a tech publication... didn't bother to ask them "Hey, exactly how much development time do you spend on this feature?"
