OK, so this post is not exactly sigil related, but it does share a lot of the same memetic qualities, just for different reasons. Back when my author portfolio was a less well known I used to create Pinterest Pins to drive traffic to the articles. Don't do that now, but I did enjoy it at the time.

As a few of you might remember, finished #Supernatural on Halloween. Eight months, show from beginning to end, few episodes almost every evening. Not ashamed to say, literally started a re-watch right away. Now at the end of Season Two, and really looking forward to Cass arriving in Season Four.

So I have started diving into this after getting my advance copy (I have a very small illustration in it) and I am well impressed so far. The structure feels more 'zine like than the original Chaos Streams but that's never a bad thing. Shaping up to be just as interesting as the first one for sure.

Ah, that's better, sleep debt repaid, ten hours unconscious and I feel like a whole new necromancer. In other news, all goes to plan and I will be doing an overnight in Central London in February, some long overdue solo ritual work by the Thames after attending a certain occult event.

In that odd grey area this evening were I know my recent sigil building rituals had some form of power to them because I am drained as fuck and not sleeping too well either. Was a four hour a night weekend. If that. Going to listen to my body and try to drift off early. Regain some sanity points.

Funny how hard it is to focus while living the thing you are looking at. I still catch myself lamenting the fact that my life isn't as magickal as the great occultists of old. Yet the more I'm able to step back, the more bizarre it all fucking seems. Guess I'm one of the weirdos after all, mister.

For those who missed my #Litha #SigilBomb, this was the format I chose for #ProjektSolarSigil earlier this year. Grainy video close ups of the sun and intent as Morse Code, combining to form a multisensory experience. Yes, I did seven of these and no, I have no idea which was for what now.

Getting experimental with my sigils at the moment, trying a few things out ahead of the upcoming #SigilBomb. I did solar analogue horror for the #Litha based event six months ago, wondering if I should create a set of lunar based companion sigils in a similar degraded, grungy style for this one too.

Oh, that's interesting. So I ordered some acrylic standees for the #SigilBomb, to basically have the sigils I create floating in space on my altar through the week with a candle behind. Viewing yourself through a temporal lens is intriguing. I've always been a difficult Fox to pin down, wandering into occulture and leaving paw prints across a number of different magickal ideas. Comment here, article there. Anthologies and essays. Yet I wonder what I'll ultimately be remembered for.

First proper frost here in Cardiff overnight. Caerphilly Mountain seems to have shielded us from the worst of the arctic blast so far, but the ground is definitely frozen. Made sure to put out extra bird food to help tide all the denizens of the nests in our trees over until it eases off a little.
