I don't usually share images of my actual practice here but this one is finished. There is a Yucca Adam's Needle I inherited from the witch before me in my garden to ward and welcome. This poppet was a protection one for an empath doing rough work with clients. The Yucca really helps that membrane.

Daisy, as a plant spirit, is so *available*. It's there simply to be there. Safe, nurturing, there for a small cough, skinned knees... it's why it's so important to work with for the Parentified Child. Those who never got to BE a child. It shows you what really brings you joy. #WitchSky #Herbs

Zoom in, zoom out. Zoom in, zoom out. My collage art professor always said, "at every stage, your drawing needs to show it's full nature. Otherwise you risk getting lost. Which loses the entire drawing." He was very right. This was about life in general, I'm realizing.

That storm was intense. Never seen a shelf cloud before. Never seen 5cm hail. Very new experience for me 😅

I feel like the Buttercup would have been sacred to Circe. It's toxic. It burns. It's beautiful and bright and "pigs" love it until they get sores all over their mouths. It dances along and those who feel entitled to it, this golden shadow, get consequences just by touching it without respect.

Still on the #Kaboutermagie kick. 🤷‍♀️😅 So, apparently, they sometimes can grow to the size of humans. They take different forms. But usually they just try to help people. Like giving directions or pulling you out of a street. How you tell is that they have no concept of time! So they take it 😂

My tree of practice has many roots where I partake in each equally. They form this system of relationships rather than one central. I draw from the soil pillbugs, the mycelium around them, herbs growing near, the wind through it's leaves, the spirits singing, and the animals sheltering. #WitchSky

So back to #Kaboutermagie. Gnomes are most proud of their disappearing capabilities and their strength. I think what's thrown around most is that gnomes are 7 times stronger than humans. And 7 times faster. Which make them very difficult to interact with. So you have to be patient and friendly.

Found a patch of wild St. John's Wort between the forest and the dunes. It is easy to see how these bright yellow flowers are traditionally so helpful to lift the mood. Just being near them was healing. 🌿💛
