The YM2151 is similar enough to the Megadrive's YM2612 that I was able to copy the patches and get a fairly accurate Desert Strike theme tune cover going. Not quite nailed the pitch bends but the automation editing in this thing sucks r.n.

There’s a beautiful, strange allure to the colour purple. It feels occult to me, otherworldly. Gilt features the colour in many small ways.

This is all fully nondestructive - you can edit the mask to add more/less to it or move shapes around in the visible layer to get a different end result. #pixelart #lowpoly #indiedev
