I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi. He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael. At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk. Wael died on Friday at age 30. ICE caused his death. They didn’t get to say goodbye.

What ICE is doing to immigrants and now white Americans in Minneapolis is what US law enforcement has always done to Black Americans, indigenous people, and poor white folks in rural areas. Your outrage is justified and welcome but this fight didn't start this week.

Thousands marched through the streets of Minneapolis tonight and ended at the barricaded vigil site for Renee Nicole Good who was fatally shot yesterday by ICE agent Jonathan Ross.

The White House’s insistence on using Sabrina Carpenter’s work and image to promote their crimes against humanity is also them appealing to their base, which already uses technology to try and humiliate and puppeteer the likenesses of women who have autonomy, success, and visibility in public

Washington, there's literally no excuse to not vote. We vote by mail or dropbox (use a dropbox since you waited til the last minute). Black voters in the South often have to stand in line for hours to do what you can do in your slippers. Get your life together and send off that damn ballot.

Washington State is one of the most Democratic leaning states in the country. Zero Republicans hold statewide elected office and the state hasn't voted for the GOP for President since 1988, that's 37 years. Nevertheless the ABC & Fox affiliates in Seattle are right wing propaganda mills.

Got sucked into this author who never fails to deliver tension-filled, feel-good romances. She weaves in mental health issues and complex relationship themes but I'm looking for a little more variety. If y'all have any recs of romance books centering Black/Brown characters let me know!
