I didn’t watch this but am I to understand that an elderly Black man stood up to a fascist, was then escorted out, and most of the white people in the room sat there and did nothing? Am I getting this right? I want to make sure before I say what I need to say.

I keep seeing sentiments like "don't let the world get to you" which feel a lot like "don't let your disability hold you back". The world is getting to all of us. It's not your fault if it does. It isn't up to you to ignore it and smile. If we must cry and weep and be gloomy, that is okay.
