The thing that has historically split the working class has been white supremacy. It was inter-racial fusionism that Jim Crow was created to defeat. Also, the very places where organizing is now strongest, eg NYC, are where the laborforce is the most diverse. As usual, Vance is talking nonsense.

This is what I thought when I recently heard an educator talk about how cool it is was that you could ask AI why Shakespeare wrote Hamlet.

What’s wrong is that anyone has to pay for emergency care. We can fund such care by everyone paying taxes on a progressive basis that would be used to fund it. It would be cheaper to have a single payer system than the extraordinary combination of high costs and poor outcomes that we have now.
