Great episode, great talk! I am definitely more on Pax's side this time. Big Willie Nelson fan, but would still only give the movie a 2.5. Not sure what it was, but I think Pax was on the right track. Great Gary Busey. And for the record Red Headed Stranger is my favorite Willie album.

Great movie. It begins with a couple of standard tropes but then twists them hard. Violently, you might say.

Excellent Don Heck splash page from Rawhide Kid 20 (Feb 1961). Heck is one of the most criminally artists ever. I’ve heard him denigrated by fans and pros alike, and they are wrong. He excelled at war, westerns, horror, sci-fi and, yes, superheroes, especially when inking himself as shown here.

Great episode, great talk! Must admit that I could not get through the movie at first, was not in the right place for it and it threw me off. Turned off, and finished it a few weeks later. I'll give one less half star than you guys. 3 stars. The idea and boldness was better than the actual movie.

I finally saw OLD HENRY, better late than never (Tim Blake Nelson is certainly a contender for my favorite living actor). One of those fella-with-a-violent-past-just-wants-to-live-in-peace...BUT! yarns. Some A+ shootin' scenes.

Great episode, great talk! I loved this movie and it was even better the second time. I felt like it was very tasteful in how it dealt with everything and great writing. The scene when he comes back from the war is amazing. Did you notice the knight had Aragorns sword 😁

Really really liked this lovely, spirited romance. Unbelievable accomplishment by Mortensen as primary creative force behind it.
