The board game industry continues to be incredibly disappointing in its inability to commit to respectful representation and equality, both in-game and around their tables. In 2025 there's zero excuse for publishers not understanding the importance of using cultural consultants.

We were recently made aware of disturbing and offensive artwork in the new game Ace of Spades by Devir. We have contacted Devir regarding this matter. Fellow hobbyists: we must strive to be better humans. We can’t simply “look the other way” when an issue doesn’t affect us directly.
