A realization that I had a few years ago is that most current day creatives you admire are probably working multiple jobs, and if they're lucky all of those jobs are creative, but many aren't. Give yourself slack as you make ends meet, but also we all need to fight for better pay together.

God I am still shocked at just how intense burnout can be.

Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.
