Is there a reason grabbing is so weird in old fighting games? You have to master the exact pixel distance between two moving characters for punch+direction to even work. It’s so weird. Command grabs can be weird too, like they might only “activate near opponent,” whatever the hell that may be.

Does anyone know how to lessen the levels of pressure sensitivity on an XP-Pen tablet? It has 8,000, but it practice, it feels like 5. The slightest difference in pressure makes the needle jump like crazy. Light touches barely register. I can work with it, I can do basic inking, but it's not ideal

Another exciting musing about being old. Don’t care about candy anymore. It was very exciting in college when I realized I could just, go to the dollar store, and buy as much candy as I wanted and eat it whenever. I still can, but now I would never want to.

The Bat-signal is weird, because it’s so ubiquitous in the pop-culture zeitgeist, but I don’t think it’s something that gets used terribly often in-universe. Like how many Batman stories have shit going down, and Batman is completely unaware UNTIL he sees the signal?

Do you guys remember when Super Smash Bros Brawl came out, and people’s Wiis couldn’t read the discs? Wasn’t that a crazy thing to happen for such a major release? Weird that I don’t think I’ve heard anyone mention it since it happened.

I never liked stickers. Say you get a really cool one. WHERE do you stick it? You only have ONE shot. You gotta commit. It can’t be undone once it’s stuck. Don’t fuck it up. If it has a more intricate silhouette, you could fuck up by merely removing it from the sheet.

Persona 5 is crazy, because the most powerful sequence that really brings home what the game is all about, is the optional bad ending that you would never naturally choose if you were invested in the story (which after a hundred hours, I would think you would be.)
