Hey fellow @obies.bsky.social! Did you know that Tappan Square was designed by the sons of Frederick Law Olmsted, who basically invented the practice of landscape design and was responsible for Central Park and the U.S. Capitol grounds? Learning this made me extra proud to be an Obie.

It’s pretty cool having just graduated from a school where 75% of the graduating class disrupts the head of the board’s commencement speech with ten minutes of “free free palestine” chants because they refuse to divest from israel. I’m so proud of us <3 (pic from oberlin4palestine on instagram)
