In a world as dark and depressing as ours is right now, I've been finding old Pokemon games to be pretty cathartic escapism. Their worlds are so simple, lighthearted, and childlike, its kind of nice to just be in a world that's relatively worry free and viewed through the lens of a 12 year old.

People are out here acquiring opinions like they’re equipping items in an RPG, and it’s really very sad. And yeah, the business forward talk has to stop. People want to talk about brands before they want to discuss art, and it directly ties into the media illiteracy issue we’ve been facing.

Shows come and go and I hear casual friends say "I didn't watch it, I heard it was bad" which is depressing in so many ways. Form your own opinions, don't believe everything you read online, and if you DID like it say so instead of focusing on viewership numbers like some CEO.
