I haven't drawn a lot of snakes, but it's breaking my symmetry brain in such a good way. Mammals have a rigid structure so you can guess where the opposite limb is even if you can't see it. There's a reason for how a snake's body lies, but it can be so much more fluid. Love this challenge!

Staying in a house for a few days after staying in a small mountain tent camp for five weeks is having odd effects on my body and psyche. There was barely a flat place to sleep, and now all the surfaces are level. All the muscles in my body are spiraled from trying to adapt to a constant incline.

I have been working and traveling for 24 hours, haven't slept yet. I've become so good at sleeping at regular times that I forget I can still sometimes do this. (Nap soon.)

How did this come out of me? Pet portrait for a friend. Mixed all the fur from primaries (yellow/red/blue, tinted with white) rather than tinting browns. I did this to have more control over the color, drove me insane, but I like the results.

This is the time of year I work with flowers. I made these garlands. I got to choose the color combos based on supplies and I'm particularly pleased this week.

Movie I've watched more than six times.

I want to be more athletic outside, but the highlight of last week was going down a trail and exploring like .25mi over two hours. I found catnip, and spent some time getting really good at identifying all flowers that are blooming this time of year. I'll remember to run someday.
