I haven’t seen anyone mention this yet but it takes two nvidia 5090s to even run this and I just looked them up they currently cost $4k a piece. So it costs $8,000 to have gen AI ruin a game’s models and art style. Who is even Nvidia advertising to? Even if it looked good no one could buy it.

Gamers, film nerds, and animation "fans" really need to learn how to separate the creative side of a studio from the shitty corporate side of a studio.

AI did not "win". The only reason why it hasn't collapsed yet is because governments keep throwing money at it, and even that's prolonging the inevitable. And I think that the more intrusive it becomes and the more tech companies force it on us, the more people will hate it.

Honestly, the more the years turn and the more I keep analyzing + thinking about Xehanort's ending, the more I find such rich texture and depth to it, all these thematic layers and resonance hidden in it. Both gameplay and narratively. I love how different it is from KH1 and KH2's endings.

i get personal wishes/desires being unfulfilled is a bummer, but at a certain point when we regard these things, we have to like analyze and appreciate what is actually there, not what could've been. and i think we need to hold some grace for the realities of dev that push it to be a certain way.
