Obviously I would love to see someone who talks like this be president but seeing her force Schumer into retirement would be *very* satisfying

I need more liberal and âmoderateâ Christians to recognize these nuts for what they are. They arenât your misguided brethren. They are your enemy. If they ever get what they really want in the US (and elsewhere) youâre going to be on the wall with the rest of us.

Youâll be hard pressed to find a democratizing movement in the US that *didnât* play constitutional hardball & *didnât* break unjust laws. Thatâs literally what democratization is, though it makes some people uncomfortable. If you want a democracy, you have to break the undemocratic system.

We've reached the point where one party has so obliterated the rule of law that everyone else continuing to abide by it will only hasten the end of our democracy. That's a recipe for chaos and violence. It's terrifying, and I don't know what we do about it.

I've now explained, at length, multiple times, that farmers were neither lied to, nor did they "forget" anything. US farmers made a deliberate choice to vote GOP, to get specific financial & legal benefits. -Tax breaks -Fewer regulations -Easier to hold immigrants captive & do forced labor.

Charles' visit to DC was a smashing success because the British public needed to hear him tell Trump to shove it; the British govt needed Trump to hear that Charles thinks the world of him; and Charles managed to say the former in such an impeccably British manner that Trump heard the latter.

the funniest thing about rod dreher is that his entire career has been this way. he has always been the private project of a single reactionary ghoul who can afford to subject the entire world to what shouldâve been the inner monologue of a very cruel, stupid man.
