Kang signing is official now. The heart of the Eagles lineup - Kang, Hyun-bin Moon, and Si-hwan Roh - is arguably the best in the KBO. This goes with some of the strongest young pitching in the league.

Sounds like Baek-ho Kang is signing with the Hanwha Eagles. Huge pick up for an offense that was streaky and slumped in big spots. Kang has proven himself clutch. Kang signed with an American agency and had wanted to test MLB, but that was always a long shot this offseason.

I suspect Kent, Murphy, Delgado, Valenzuela are the ones who have a shot to get in (in that order of likelihood). I’ve long assumed Kent is getting in this year, so I will stick with that. There does seem to be a bit of a surge in reevaluating Delgado.

Byung-ho Park is retiring after 17 KBO seasons and two seasons in the States. Park is the only player in KBO history with two consecutive 50-home run seasons. His total of 418 ranks fourth all time. Until 2025, Park also held the single-season RBI record with 146.
