Watched Criterion's beautiful DVD restoration of "Monterey Pop" (1968), D.A. Pennebaker's doco on the budding US counterculture. Some of the live clips are now so well-worn so what really struck me were the scenes and shots of the audience, the faces and characters, the clothes and sunglasses...
