I have been at an art fair for three days. It cost me £150. I have sold £50 worth of paintings, and they were to two friends. It’s like being punched in the face every five seconds. It’s not that people just don’t like my paintings, I am completely invisible. They don’t even see them.

Like a lot of people I’ve been listening to the stone roses for the past week. Does anyone else have imaginary versions of bands? I keep thinking about an alt Roses that leant into the backwards and weird stuff and made a second album that was all like Something’s Burning and Simmone and Waterfall.

My dad worked on the Jubilee Line Extension Project & i visited stations before they opened - an architectural feat. I happened to be in Southwark the day it opened & I recall travellers rising this elevator & going straight to the glowing blue wall to touch it, a real genuine response to design.
