After watching a friend struggle with finger braces worn for arthritis, @hcii.cmu.edu Ph.D. student Yuyu Lin was inspired to create a solution. Lin worked with fellow researchers in the Interactive Structures Lab to create the first 3D-printed finger brace that easily shifts from rigid to flexible.
