Honestly, seeing shit from the Epstein Files, I’m nearly convinced they’re all in a weird Ba’al cult together. It explains the hyper capitalism, obsession with fertility, all the power fantasies, and of course the child abuse and sacrifice aspect.

You do your friends and family a disservice by turning a blind eye to the terrible things they’re supporting knowingly or unknowingly. If you can’t call them out, that’s a problem.

Anyone else having problems with specific microphones in @discord.com on the latest build? I cannot have Motiv installed or my MV7+ plugged in, otherwise input/outputs just read “windows default.” I unplugged the mic, nothing. Uninstalled Motiv and it worked again. Plugged in MV7+ and broke again.

Discord is only showing default inputs and not letting me use my mic and headphones… ugh.

I think the Chinese trend in graphic design that they call “New Ugly” is going to spread like crazy because it’s simple, and says “I made this. I don’t use AI.” Not only will it help differentiate between ai slop and something made by a person, it’ll help starve out ai’s usage in graphic design.

Generative ai is a regurgitation machine. It is vomit. Slop. It is the leftovers and scraps of someone else’s masterpiece thrown together by the most expensive and environmentally damaging plagiarism machine of all time.

I try to avoid people who want to be miserable, and seek out any way to complain or treat others like crap. I don’t mind people who actually want to find positive stuff and are just sad. I can relate to that. Don’t make negativity your brand.

Hey indie game publishers; Be super careful with what you say your game is inspired by in print or anywhere else, because apparently there’s a rise in companies coming after people for simply stating what inspired their product. And the companies are winning.

I don’t want to do things because someone else thinks that it’s cool, I want to do things that I enjoy.

Hit my first GM nightmare scenario in Daggerheart with the final boss for a learning campaign… I went into the fight with full fear which was great, until they only rolled 4 times with fear in over an hour and a half. They just began walloping on me and then began to bully the NPC to death.

Idk. Feels like Moonbeam is taking the money they raised and running. Hope that’s not the case and they gave a solid try. But it’s kind of suspicious that it didn’t even last a year. To be fair it was confusing to use. Terrible user interface.

Forgive me for I have sinned… my wife asked to see the remote and I held it up and flipped it around and said “that’s what it looks like.”

I have to be so cognizant of when I am in bubbles and not be overly influenced by them. I let people dictate my thinking for years telling me what to like and what not to like, how to feel, and what to believe. It’s ok for someone to like a thing you don’t like. There’s no reason to be elitist.

Remember, community means participation and giving as much as receiving. It is easy to feel like you don’t belong or that no one likes you if you isolate from community, but those feeling go away when you put yourself out there, make and effort by showing up. And in our case, playing games!

I find that the more a TTRPG allows me to “play” alongside my players, the more memorable it will be for me. Something about it allows me to see it the same way they do, and to build those memories.
