Forgive me for I have sinned… my wife asked to see the remote and I held it up and flipped it around and said “that’s what it looks like.”

I have to be so cognizant of when I am in bubbles and not be overly influenced by them. I let people dictate my thinking for years telling me what to like and what not to like, how to feel, and what to believe. It’s ok for someone to like a thing you don’t like. There’s no reason to be elitist.

Remember, community means participation and giving as much as receiving. It is easy to feel like you don’t belong or that no one likes you if you isolate from community, but those feeling go away when you put yourself out there, make and effort by showing up. And in our case, playing games!

I find that the more a TTRPG allows me to “play” alongside my players, the more memorable it will be for me. Something about it allows me to see it the same way they do, and to build those memories.

I need TTRPG conventions to do a lot better on the diversity of their special guests.

Is anyone else the type of person to see cool vacant buildings and thinking “man, I could really turn that into something cool and live in the apartment above it…” Tavern, games shop, whatever… just something I can wake up to and walk down stairs to run.

Every now and then I get reminded of how much my disability my disability is, and it really makes things hard. But then I get to be around people who are supportive and care, and it makes it less painful. I tlove the #TTRPG & #cosplay communities. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without them.

TTRPG Community… I have a proposal… we start our own town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Hear me out, a tight knit, walkable, and diverse community. Our main export will be games. We will open a grocery store, a print shop, coffee shop, etc. We raise the money together, and live in peace.

I love Fabula Ultima, that being said, these tiers feel EXPENSIVE for most of the books being rereleases in hardcover. I’ll have to really think about whether I’m backing this one or not. If you don’t have the books, I guess it’s an ok deal. And all the people working on it deserve to get paid.
