I keep seeing this post reposted with excellent examples of hitbox interactions, but I am hung up on 'complete the fishing minigame'. There is always more fish to catch. People who say it is 'complete' when there are not more unlocks are not true fishers.

My 70 year old camera has been starting to act up, but I am still trying to keep it going as long as I can. Loaded it up with Fujifilm Acros II, a film I have had trouble with, but it was really sunny on Sunday. Already got the scans back and while there were not many pictures on it, I am happy.

Some of my film shots from Frosty Faustings. These were done with really slow shutter speeds, so a bit fuzzier. Also, part of me thinks that the shutter might be opening a little when I am winding the film. So many of these are double exposed, but the second exposure is the ceiling?

Went to pick up the film I shot at Frosty back. Talked about a few issues cropping up with my aging camera. They also had a Pentax K1000 on sale that seemed in good shape and a reasonable price. Then I tried it. I do not think I can use an SLR... Too loud for me. Still tempting.

Friday at Frosty Faustings. Went 0-2 in +R but had fun. Got to see a lot of good games, take a lot of pictures. Shot a roll of film which may or may not turn out... we will see in a couple weeks.

Day one of Frosty Faustings. Travel was ok. So tired though. Got an Xrd set in which was nice. Vibes are great. Here are a few pictures I took (with plenty more coming over the next few days... I kept forgetting it is only Thursday).

I am ready for the least productive week ever as I try to focus with Frosty Faustings just days away.

People already working hard to prove how perfect Alex Pretti was. To show he didn't "deserve" to be killed. But it's a trap folks. You're only feeding into a dynamic where people who are considered lesser get no protection. You don't have to be an Alex Pretti to deserve to live.

Still getting used to film and understanding how much light each ISO needs. I thought I could get away with ISO 100 on this overcast day, but a lot were still underexposed so it had to be pushed in scanning. Also the 70 mechanical camera showing quirks wit not always advancing the film properly.

Here is hoping for Xrd. Also, really excited to experience the church venue, the pics from last time looked amazing

Since I got the film back, that also means I have the film pictures I took at Resshoumania. It was fun experimenting with higher ISO films. Also, learned some quirks of the 70 y/o camera. Sometimes it does not want to advance film so there were some double exposures. www.flickr.com/photos/20168...

Finally got the film back from my trip to Oakland and Resshoumania. These are some of the Oakland pics I took using Kodak Ektar 100 film in my Samoca 35 V. Not bad for a 70 year old camera. (It did give me issues with later rolls, but live and learn)

I remembered I had a tripod and so I decided to revisit taking a shot of my integrated tube amp at night. It was fun futzing about with the settings. Ultimately went for f2, ISO 160, and let it do auto exposure with a 2 second timer. Shutter speed wound up being 30 seconds, but the details are nice.

Hearing about the US actions in Venezuela and feel an odd sense of deja vu. Am reminded of another time the sitting president ordered some strong, unilateral military actions. So I go check. Both on January 3rd. I do not want to repeat 2020, please. (though going back to wfh might be nice)

I did not want to put this one with the First Day Hike pictures because it was technically after the hike. I was walking back to my car which involved a little bridge over the Terrell Creek. It was very still and the reflection is provided was magnificent.

I went to a 2026 First Day Hike that Washington State Parks was putting on. Specifically, I went to the Birch Bay State Park where it was a walk along the beach with some lovely views and driftwood, and some educational lectures.

Stuck waiting for a long train, AMA. (Not really though... Not sure when it will finally fully pass)

Lancer TTRPG is fun, and a lot of the modules are really well put together and balanced. So many of the encounters start off a bit worrisome, but the players are able to make heroic comebacks. And if they do not... failure is rarely and end state, just something that might make the future harder.
