Rainy day today, so time to clear the cupboards. I have so many hobby graveyards spread around the house, that have gathered over the last 10 years 😳 Time to sort it all out and get it away in some order, before I get distracted!

After the respectful, calm and measured checkouts, in Japanese supermarkets, I'm still struggling with the pressure and speed of the ones back in Europe ... Today has been a full re-stock the cupboards shop, at 3 supermarkets and I now need a sit down in a darkened room

So exhausted last night that we were asleep by 8, but it's so good to be home again

And we're home ... It's been a wonderful & chaotic last couple of.months, cycling from Devon back to here, then pottering around Japan, but the cases are empty, the fire is lit, the wine is open and we're about to collapse in a heap

On our way home, just passed Lyon, and are now at the chocolate orange stage of the journey ... All being well, just over 2 hrs to go

A few photos from a long day of walking a little bit of Tokyo. We wandered through some very pretty back streets on our way from Kitazawa to Shibuya and on to the Imperial Palace & Meiji Shrine. It's certainly an experience, but reinforced that we have spent the 6 weeks in the right place for us
