I can't stress enough that you should take every opportunity that comes your way to support your local public libraries. Many of them are currently struggling and are being DEFUNDED. Local action matters on this front. Don't sit back until those libraries are gone before taking ACTION.

Basic retail fail: in the men's sale section at the LL Bean store in the Burlington, MA, the shirt section has an upper hanging rod and a lower hanging rod. The upper rod contains the "regular" sizes. The lower rod contains the "tall" sizes. I can't be the only one who sees the missed oppotunity.

And furthermore, this omits the negative effects on cis folks whose lives are currently positively impacted by the trans folks they love. I say this speaking as a trans person, confident that I positively impact the lives of cis folks I love.

it's fairly easy to remind someone making Stack's argument here that there are like 3-4x as many trans people in america today as there were jews in germany before WWII. getting tired from screaming that this is nazi stuff but this is so obviously nazi stuff!!!!

There are an estimated 1.6 million trans people in the US. That's equivalent to the population of Philadelphia. Imagine if the federal government suddenly announced that Philadelphians no longer have civil rights.
