In the St. Louis airport, a passenger transport vehicle stopped right in front of me, and Dolly Parton stepped down from it. She's tiny, even in 5" high heels! She waved to the people waiting at the gate before disappearing into a private lounge.

My community has red-white-and-blue bunting up to celebrate Flag Day, which is Saturday. I just spoke to my HOA Pres for an explanation, since one resident here is ultra-MAGA and sure enough it's her doing. Was told she "got permission" re Flag Day, but I'm not buying that as her intent. Grrr.

I spent the past 2 days helping my neighbor with her yard sale. We live in a deep red MAGA district, sadly. We had tons of shoppers and many of them, unprompted, complained about tRump and tariffs and higher prices on everything. That encouraged me a bit that voter's remorse is now setting in.

It's Opening Day in major league baseball, a day I've been anticipating for 6 months. It's gonna be a total baseball afternoon and evening for me, especially once the DBacks take the field against the Cubs at 7:10 p.m. I'm watching other games while I wait. So...I'm unavailable. Catch me tomorrow.

I just discovered that in 1999, Peerce's Plantation in Baltimore transitioned to serving mostly Indian cuisine. When I lived in the area many years ago, Peerce's was the go-to special occasion spot for us. We ate seafood, and fried chicken, and it was glorious. Good times.... #Baltimore
