My oh my. Executive function is malfunctioning a bit right now. Fascinating. Truly fascinating. Much wow.

On a side note, I was given an old tool box by someone who was otherwise going to throw it away. It's perfect for my clay pearls and buttons. And sorting them kinda tickled my brain in a good way.

Why does it have to be so hard to be happy in a world as fantastic and inspiring as this one?

I wish I thought this was a good cause, simply redistributing niche books or something. But it all just makes me uneasy. I really hope someone finds out what's going on. And I hope it's a sigh of relief.

I enjoy working with papier-maché but I always seem to forget how long it takes.

Went on a walk and it really felt like approaching rain. And yup - sudden shower. Heavy rain with the sunset and bird song. The really good stuff. And this might be the first time I've ever looked at a rainbow in a puddle. So the light in water phenomenon seen reflected on water.

When you start painting with no plan and just trying to figure out as you go and after a while you lean back and look at it and is like yea, it's actually getting somewhere! *_*

I wasn't super fond of this, but didn't outright dislike it either. And if I've spend time sculpting something it's going through the kiln. Them's the rules. So I'm going to treat this as a canvas and paint it all over! Maybe eyes and tentacles and flowers and patterns.

Adding fake texture! This isn't finished yet but it is interesting to add a painted surface to an already 3d object. Once it's all in place I'll add gloss on top. Making it shiny. I have considered adding small rocks or something around it too but I'm not sure yet.

This is so wrong in such a good way.

I made this elephant calf like one and a half years ago or something like that. It was early on in my "stoneware clay learning journey" or whatever. I was proud of it. Really put effort into the texture of the skin. But then I painted it with engobes and learned the hard way that it's difficult...

I'm so doomer right now I don't know what to do about it. At least I'm angry and not just sad or apathetic. There's energy in anger.

I don't think we need more of the old style, typical Bonds. We have the old movies. Those are of an era and can't really be made today anyway. So, if we are to get more of them I think they have to be brave and cast someone who is NOT a typical Bond. Do something else with the concept.

#TuesdayBlue I am stunned at how beautiful this quilt by Karol Wright is. She named it "Venice Rose." The pattern by Norah McMeeking is called Bella Bella. The design inspiration comes from a pattern on the floor of the Basillica of Saint Mark in Venice.

Went out for an evening walk/run. And I notice a clear before and after the pneumonia I had in December. The way I feel tired after running is very different. I've never had asthma before but maybe I have now. I don't know. I still hope it'll go back to normal again, sooner or later.

I think I like this kind of graphic more than the truly realistic ones. It's smooth and looks good but you can still make out individual pixels if you look closely. Together with good lighting and sound, this is as complicated as it has to be for me, I think.

Another one. Some bits looking like aerial photography or satellite photos, and some just look like bird poop or skin disease.

I want to use all of them but I know I'm going to forget like I always do D: Well, I can always try next time I encounter mud.
