Nothing remotely resembling an insurrection is happening anywhere in the country. Any violence associated with protest has been isolated, mild, and, in nearly every case, instigated by federal law enforcement. If we let Trump get away with calling dissent an insurrection, our republic is over.

We had a great turn-out today to greet Doc Marshall on his rare appearance in the Kansas wild. We were quiet, dignified, and, we hope, difficult to avoid.

See you in just under an hour at CiCo Park to welcome Doc Marshall! We're meeting on Wreath Ave just north of Dickens, facing the technical college. But we expect the group will move to find the best vantage point to say our friendly hellos.

Head's up: there may be a march element. So wear comfy shoes. If you're not able to be there right at 12:30, look (and listen) for the group if we're not standing on Wreath Ave. The group should likely still be visible.

We are in the process of getting a permit for tomorrow's impromptu welcome of our rarely-seen Senator. As always, please respect the parameters of our permits. We're out to make good trouble. Staying on the right side of our permits helps us do this.

We're hearing Doc Marshall is in town tomorrow. Now, we're nice, welcoming people, so we think it would be good for him to receive the welcome he deserves. We're hearing his visit is scheduled for 1 pm at MATC, Manhattan Area Technical College. There's a nice spot in Cico Park from which to wave.
