I was surprised to learn the Purple Pound is now worth a whopping £446bn in the UK! Accessible services are good for people and good for business. Our #TheHiddenJourney survey shows access barriers cause so much frustration, while inclusive retail experiences earn trust and loyalty #PurpleTuesday

The UK needs an independent process to calculate what the standard allowance should be that actually reflects what people need to get by. 🛡️ This would significantly strengthen our benefits system’s ability to protect people from hardship when they need it most.
