alright, final update. the outfit from my original sketch recycled on one hand, and something for the people who bring up the (hideous, imo) SotE dragon priestess whenever this idea is discussed on the other

much like "soul remains" was my most self-indulgent setting, ilistirgue is my most self-indulgent character, amalgam of most of the designs and/or ideas i've ever liked that she is

her backstory is she's the man-made personification of another dimension, a limbo (i.e. the setting), created by people who came from outside now unable to leave in the hopes that the dimension itself could expel them... which she does, and is left all alone as a result. cue story, if i had one...

actually managed to not only make, but also rig (even if rudimentarily. blender did most of it automatically) a model of her! a herculean feat, considering it's me we're talking about here

after a certain point Ilistirgue gains a companion on her otherwise lonely journey through the dimension she embodies: Ssutilei (a part of them, anyway)

you might remember my first attempt, from back when we only knew like half of the characters. unlike then, i actually bothered looking at Elden Ring (ancient) dragons first this time around

though i drew her with a spear (Guardian uses halberds and Revenant seems built for scythes already. maybe i should've picked a twinblade?) i imagine her to be a STR build, which Nightreign has none of on the female characters' side. that's about all i have, the rest is up to Ishizaki...

alright... Warcraft 3's probably done the most damage, as mentioned, but other influential (for me) games/series from around that time were Oddworld (before it got too silly), Sacrifice (a game no one's heard of), Legacy of Kain, Silent Hill... probably more i'm forgetting...
