It’s pretty amazing to see the four statements from Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, and EU on US strikes on Iran side-by-side. The wording is pretty much verbatim, esp the first two paragraphs. They all have the same script.

Update on June 17, 2025 - Latest numbers from Gaza Health Ministry revises the number of Palestinians killed to 59 and injured to 200. It still remains the deadliest day on record so far, bringing the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire while waiting for food to 397.

With anti-ICE protests already ramping in the US, it would be interesting to see where this goes considering more than half of Americans, including Republicans, do not support a war with Iran.

Sharon's right. I looked at the LinkedIn page -- Exigent has paid for Jen Gerson, Dahlia Kurtz, Bryan Passifiume, Warren Kinsella, Adam Zivo and MORE to go to Israel. In an earlier post, its co-founder claims its trips led to op-eds by Brian Lilley and Terry Glavin, too. This is so fucked up!

Between calling police to arrest their students, feeding information for the govt to detain & deport them, despite their pleas for help, and now this, Columbia really does not have their students’ interest in mind at all. I hope prospective students are taking note.

Attacking places of worship, targeting civilians, killing children, were all acts that would have previously drawn widespread international condemnation on account of them being war crimes. The rules of war have completely shifted due to Israel's onslaught in Gaza with explicit Western-backing.

What this reporting and similar reporting in Western media doesn’t say is that among the nine “precision strikes” were targeted attacks on mosques killing at least three children.

Watching Western media covering the India-Pakistan crisis. It is not enough to have an Indian or a Pakistani on your shows as a voice. You have to have Kashmiris on. Centre the voices and the people who have been under occupation on both sides for 7 decades.

I spent some time in Kashmir years ago. When I was in Kargil, there were buildings that still had bullet holes & others that were never rebuilt from the last time the countries went to war. Thinking of people on both sides of the border in a region that continues to fight for its self-determination
