#LateNightWrite My current WIP "We Are Monstrous" has two MCs. I think both of them would tell their earlier selves that they are not only the collection of their mistakes and wrongs, that they are so much more. But also that those mistakes are part of their journey to become who they are now.

#LateNightWrite This is an interesting one! I think usually my world building is pretty consistent, and my character arcs are more internal than world related, so it doesn't change much (But now you've got me thinking...)

#LateNightWrite Almost everything? 😂 Themes have mostly stayed the same (I'm big on "you are flawed but still deserving of love"). But my prose style has evolved a lot, I think. I've absorbed bits & pieces of styles from writers I love, to be a bit more lyrical (& yes a little purple).

Oof, the movie American Fiction has so many layers that I'm gonna be digesting this for a while.

I HAVE FINISHED THIS MANUSCRIPT. Tonight was a low-key celebration at home with some tuxedo mousse cake, some sparkling wine, and a movie (American Fiction). It's in my agent's hands for now, and I hope someday this (yes, horrormance) book fills all the big dreams I have for it.
