All those movies shot in DV from the early 2000s before the 4k cams were a thing look so freaking bad nowadays. And there’s absolutely nothing to be done about it (lest rendering them even harder to watch)

Funny that every Of Human Bondage adaptation shares the same 3.3 score on Letterboxd. That could mean people never double-check the adaptation they log, and the overall opinion of the most-watched one has been pulverized across every other. Or maybe just a logic error on the app? 🤔

I could watch anything filmed in SF during the 1970s (what a city it used to be) and Foul Play has definitely entered my comfort movie canon
