If you are enforcing an office-only policy, you are telling me that your company prefers people who are good at concentrating and are thriving in busy environments, who have sound immune systems. And that you don’t trust employees to determine the work conditions they can do their best job in.

Little alt text tip: If the relevant image description is already in your post, you don’t need to double it in the alt text. Nobody needs to hear the same thing twice. However, alt text must make sense on its own when describing the image. It’s not the same as an image caption underneath.

One downside of sighted people always checking out the alt text is that many people have a visual joke in a picture and then don’t want to give away the joke in the alt text. I know it hurts to explain your own joke, but please do it anyway. It’s an accessibility tool, not a bonus text.
