Democrats have spent months pushing basic ICE oversight. These are standard across law enforcement. But House Republicans have refused to agree to any of this. The public deserves to know why ICE should be the exception.

ICE was just apportioned a $31 million increase for its of Office of Refugee Resettlement. This comes at the same time The Guardian reported that Trump Officials were considering sending nearly 1,100 Afghans — many of whom helped US forces during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM — to Congo.

According to Russia, Trump invited them to the G20 meet that will be hosted at his golf course late this year, and this comes after the Treasury quietly issued another oil waiver late last week. Meanwhile, Russia continues to help Iran against the US.

This would be a significant increase in denaturalization efforts; but also a tiny drop in the bucket of naturalized citizens. And these cases are not exactly easy for the government to win; they have to go to a bench trial in front of a federal judge and prove material fraud.
