Finding it harder than it should be to manage #Bluesky followers and lists? Here's my simple yet quite useful (??) alternative using just a #GoogleSheet! See who you aren't yet following back. Set search terms for list membership and then have the list membership update automatically, on a timer.

AQA GCSE Physics equations 👏👏👏👏 #ITeachPhysics

Bsky lists...can be curated manually (Lists>Add new), BUT can also be created from search rules using Skyfeed.app (Lists>Create), which is so powerful! It searches profile descriptions, making it so important to cram these with relevant keywords and tags if you want to be found.

To create a custom feed: 1) Go to skyfeed.app in a browser (install as an app when prompted if you want). Use your Bluesky username and then click the arrow in the password box to get BS to generate a password token for you (just call it "Skyfeed") that you can then paste into the password box.

UK Government today advises a blanket ban on phones and to actually search pupils to check if they have them. What happened to education and developing trust? "BYOD policies should not include mobile phones". So we shouldn't make positive use of the computer in every pocket? So disappointing. 🎓
