why would SE throw away money by banning Mare They have to. The moment they are able to contact the dev to issue a C&D they have to. If they *can* and they fail to do so, it can be legally regarded as though they've chosen not to, opening them up to liability for whatever happens w/ that mod. 1/?

hey listen i know it's tempting to lash out at ppl who were discussing mods in public and stuff like that- admittedly, it wasn't particularly discreet or wise- but the people you should really be mad at are the SE devs who refuse to reinvest in their game/foster their community

There is an easier way to do this by the way. You can use the "Import from Screen" feature in a new, empty to basically make a copy of every modded file currently on you! Just gotta make sure to expand every section to make sure you grab *every* modded file.

With the Moon's light eclipsed for now, remember that several things can be true at once. Modding is not dead, Mods *can* be effectively killed by SE if they choose to, SE drops the ball with representation and expression at the CC level. Also mods are literally not just a tool of 'gooning'

To share manually: Have an online storage solution, google drive, dropbox etc. Create a modpack using textools or penumbra. Export your customize. Shove the files in your online storage solution in step 1. Give to friends. Friend downloads, installs like they would from XMA.

If I had to I would call it confirmation bias to what I said earlier in that I am more inclined to believe legal action was taken due to the use of player IDs and not "they are coming for my mods cause we had a community event."
