It's interesting that whenever people talk about seceding, they always refer to leaving the South behind, the home of the majority of Black Americans, but rarely refer to like Ohio or Montana or the Dakotas or Utah. And by interesting I mean racist.

It's not just an unwillingness to read, it's also an inability to accurately vet sources. Not "is this person an expert", but "is this person an expert in THIS?" Asking, "why is this person telling me this?" Or asking "do other people in their field agree with them and what are their sources?"

Weren't some of those people shitting on the ACA as not good enough/Republican healthcare/a blockade to M4All? Now, they recognize it's importance now that it can be used as a cudgel against Dems. MAGA really seeped into everything political, including rhetoric on the left.

The ACA cuts happened in the reconciliation bill in July, every single Democrat voted against it and they got 3 detectors so Vance had to break the tie, and the Dems just shut down the government for 40 days to try and get them to undo it, it is absolutely deranged to blame this on “Democrats”
