My first stop on Congressman on the Job was Mario’s Grocery Store, a local market right in our district. I helped restock shelves and stock produce while talking with workers who have been there for over a decade. I saw it firsthand how grocery prices have climbed and workers are feeling priced out.

Costs are rising across Nevada. Housing Gas Health Care That’s not random That’s the result of poor policy. And Nevada families are paying the price I’m focused on lowering costs and raising wages.

If this feels like a joke, it’s not a good one. Costs are up; wages aren’t keeping pace. And families are paying the price. April Fool’s Day comes once a year. The cost-of-living crisis is every day.

Nevadans are already being priced out of the housing market by corporate speculators. Now hedge funds are trying to limit competition to protect their investments. That is exactly the kind of market manipulation that drives up costs and hurts working families.

I’ve heard it across NV-04 Families are working and still getting priced out. Wall Street is buying up homes. Costs are rising faster than wages. I introduced the HOME Act, UNLOCK Act, and Housing Transparency Act to fight back. No complicated economics. Just fairness.
