So sad as a local FGC TO seeing Tekken 8 crash and burn in terms of popularity, mainly cuz of season 2. We had a Tekken 7 and T8 bracket at our bi-weekly today. More people came out for the T7 bracket than T8 lol. We often don't have the minimum 4 entrants to run T8 each event.

Virtua Fighter 5 REVO: Jacky high damage wall stagger->6K+G crumple->bound combo route on Jean. This route can also without the wall stagger if your 6K+G counter hits an opponent with their back to the wall. If 6K+G hits a staggered opponent you get the CH crumple state.

Virtua Fighter 5 REVO: Normal hit 4P combo routes for Jacky's 6K launcher on Eileen. Utilizes the changes made to Jacky's 4P in REVO, which gave him a lot of new combo routes.

It's been awhile since my last #slaphappyrhythmbusters post, so why not break the silence with the other Mr. Top-Tier, Rude Boy For THE character with the highest damage his game doesn't disappoint, easily breaking 300 damage for 1 bar (more on that later *wink*) -(Part 1)-

Going to go live soon, probably around 20-30 minutes from now. Planning on playing some Elden Ring: Nightreign, maybe VF5 too Gonna show my Rotted Woods strategy that practically guarantees wins against some of the hardest bosses in the game. Open to playing w viewers too.

How I feel showing Nightreign players that they can easily flip 1 Sovereign Sigil into 15 by conjuring the Rotted Woods against the hard mode bosses.

I am getting pretty good at consistently winning runs in Nightreign. Even in random queues and against the hard mode bosses. Been really enjoying this game recently, Ironeye/Wylder are my favorite characters atm.

Virtua Fighter 5 REVO: New anti-Taka combos for Jacky. Found 2 counter hit combo routes with Jacky against Taka that are new to REVO. The oki on these combos is not great because it leaves them standing and you at minus frame advantage, but the damage is usually worth it.

Do any other Virtua Fighter 5 REVO players experience stage specific lag when playing online? Playing on PC against certain players, sometimes matches will lag a TON on certain stages but when I play the same person on a different stage it feels fine. IDK how to fix this.

Really happy that Virtua Fighter 5 REVO got a recent update that adds an in game replay/replay takeover feature. Replay Takeover will be an amazing tool for anyone trying to level up in VF. And in game replays will make it easier to record and upload my gameplay highlights.

Beat all 8 Nightlords and reached the ending of ER: Nightreign. Still got sidequests to complete, really enjoyed my experience so far. Had fun playing with friends in discord and in random queues with no comms. It's easier to get used to playing without talking than I expected

Been enjoying Elden Ring: Nightreign, but I gotta vent: When I see someone pick Executor in matchmaking, I assume they are bad Almost always constantly needs reviving, usually underleveled by the end. On release week they think they can parry everything, but end up facetanking

One interesting thing I learned recently: The Japanese Virtua Fighter scene doesn't care much for VF4 anymore. When I talked to two Japanese VF players at Combo Breaker, I talked to them about this and they told me that while VF3 and VF5 are still popular in arcades, VF4 is not.

Itching to get back into making content since I got back from Combo Breaker. Gonna try to focus on putting together a guide for Jacky in VF5 REVO that I have been writing. Feeling confident enough in my play/understanding of the changes that I should just focus on getting it out.

Plasma Sword movement tech: Box Stepping Movement in this game revolves around canceling sidesteps into dashes using the M button. These movements can be chained together into zig-zag/box patterns. Allows you to move backwards/forwards faster while remaining evasive.

Very happy to see that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 added the ability to record commands and play them back in Project Justice. PJ has a lot of crazy good normals/strings that require guard cancels in order to punish. Now it is finally easier to practice defense in this game.

Jacky's infamous flip kick isn't that great in combos anymore due to scaling changes made in VF5 REVO, but it's still a counter hit monster that can meaty wake up kicks if you time it right.
