Hot damn...the second chapter of Blumhouse's Fear the Spotlight is excellent. It opens up after the game "ends," but honestly, it's way more interesting and far scarier than anything that comes before it.

I'm thinking of finishing @cozygamepals.bsky.social Fear the Spotlight off-stream so I don't spoil the ending for anyone. I've really enjoyed it so far and kind of hate the idea of potentially ruining the experience for someone. But yeah, play this game. It's really well done.

Finished up Fear The Spotlight tonight, and you know what? That was absolutely delightful, nice and spooky PS1 inspired visuals, some great puzzles, and was surprisingly sweet! I really like it.

Fear the Spotlight is really worth your time. It’s a nice midpoint between Crow Country and Mouthwashing on the story/mechanics spectrum, and the story and tone do some unexpected and welcome tricks. Highly recommend. @cozygamepals.bsky.social

Played through Fear the Spotlight this week. Excellent indie horror game where you're stuck in a high school and a creepy house after a seance gone bad. Very tense atmosphere amplified by amazing audio design (creaky doors, footsteps, etc) and charming retro visuals. Enjoyed it a lot!

I finished Fear The Spotlight and I really enjoyed it. The vibes are perfect and it was exactly what I wanted: a short, fun survival horror game with a good atmosphere and some genuine good jump scare-ish moments
