HOT TAKE Rolling for stats in D&D sucks shit It isn't fun if you end up underpowered compared to the rest of the party. Most people have house rules (rerolls, roll X drop the lowest, etc) that exist to reduce variability, which defeats the point of rolling dice in the first place.
