Found out yesterday that the pilot project I pitched for year-round, on-street bike corrals in St Paul has been 100% approved with a ribbon cutting in May to kick off Bike Month! (I’m so busy on the ground helping neighbors that I hardly had time to read the good email I got yea!)

94% of teachers have had to dip into their own pockets to buy school supplies. An estimated 1 in 6 have second jobs during the school year to make ends meet. The average Wall Street employee got a record $244,700 bonus last year. Something has gone terribly wrong.

It is insane to me that the government can find money to pay ICE agents increasingly larger sums of money, yet teachers have to buy their own pencils.

When a buddy and I made and posted missing mayor signs like these in Omaha after mayor Stothert missed the “mayor’s ride” to kick off bike month years ago, she audited my bike shop for municipal restaurant tax and removed me from the Benson Businesses Improvement District council board seat.

I just talked to my mom and she says if they cut social security she’s going to shoot herself. So that’s fun.
