Interesting. An HCI company wants a client to sign an NDA before they authorize connectivity to external storage. That doesn't quite pass the sniff test.

When did ghosting via email in a corporate setting become commonplace?

Remember to watch the watchers. A different #SQLServer group at a mutual client was just caught adding an unauthorized index to a critical table. It caused cascading blocking and took down a critical system last night. This was after it was stressed to NOT make changes without ISV written approval.

Isn't cloud XaaS supposed to be pay by consumption? Why would a cloud provider set an artificial limit far too low to be usable, then you need to beg them to increase the limit so you can actually use it as intended?

Being able to say 'no' is a benefit that comes with being an independent consultant that being an FTE rarely affords. It's tough to use it, but when need to, don't be afraid to do so.
